Synopsis
MPA provides CFS for approved maritime-related courses and seminars held in Singapore to upgrade the expertise of local maritime personnel. CFS is available for participants who are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents sponsored by business entities or organizations registered or incorporated in Singapore:
• 30% CFS for non-examinable courses; and
• Up to 60% CFS for certifiable courses based on written examinations.
FOR SPONSORING BUSINESS/SPONSORED EMPLOYEES

Sponsoring businesses/sponsored employees are required to read the the Terms and Conditions for 30% CFS. All terms and conditions must be strictly adhered to.
Step 1 - Apply
The MCF CFS Application Form must be completed and submitted by sponsoring businesses to the Training Service Provider before the commencement of the course.
Step 2 - Claim
Training Service Providers will submit the MCF CFS Claim Form to MCF Secretariat on behalf of sponsoring businesses based on the number of eligible participants after the conduct of the course.

Courses Eligible for 60% Course Fee Subsidy (CFS)

Sponsoring businesses/sponsored employees are required to read the Terms and Conditions for 60% CFS. All terms and conditions must be strictly adhered to.
Step 1 - Apply
Sponsoring businesses are required to submit MCF CFS Application Form upon successful admission of the employees to attend the course. It must be submitted to the MCF Secretariat before the commencement of the course.
Step 2 - Claim
Upon employee's completion of the course, sponsored businesses are required to submit MCF CFS Claim Form to the MCF Secretariat and enclose copies of the supporting documents, details which can be found in the Terms and Conditions.
FOR TRAINING SERVICE PROVIDERS
Training Services Providers (TSP) conducting maritime-related courses, seminars and conferences in Singapore may apply for these courses to be approved for CFS-funding. For further information, please contact the MCF Secretariat.
For each approved non-examinable course, TSP will publicise the availability of CFS funding to sponsoring businesses. TSPs will note the Terms and Conditions and collate and retain the MCF application forms completed by sponsoring businesses.
TSPs will complete the MCF CFS Claim Form on behalf of the sponsoring business entities based on the number of eligible participants. The MCF CFS Claim Form must be submitted within 3 months after completion of the approved course.
