The following are the tug recommendations for vessels berthing and unberthing at Berths T 01 to T08.

    VESSEL LENGTH OVERALL 

      NUMBER OF TUGS

           Up to 100 metres LOA

              1 small tug

         101 to 180 metres LOA

          2 medium tugs

      More than 180 metres LOA

              2 big tugs
  1. Vessels up to 100 metres LOA equipped with good reliable bow / stern thrusters could have the tug requirement waived.
  2. Vessels of more than 100 metres LOA equipped with good reliable bow / stern thrusters are required to have at least one appropriate tug to assist.
  3. Vessels exceeding 80 metres LOA without bow/stern thrusters, berthing and unberthing at T08, to be assigned 2 tugs.
