TUG RECOMMENDATION FOR BERTHING AND UNBERTHING:
Berth 1 and 2 (OVL1 & OVL2)

 

LENGTH OVERALL OF VESSEL

NUMBER OF TUGS

232 to 280 metres LOA

 2 big tugs (Pilot may oreder aadditional tug)

>75000GT or >280 metres  LOA with draft <17m

 4 big tugs

>75000GT or >280 metres  LOA with draft >17m

4 big tugs, each with a minimum bollard pull of at least 40 tons.  The total aggregate bollard pull of the 2 tugs deployed at the bow or the stern should not be less than 90 tons.
