Businesses can apply for a course fee subsidy when they sponsor their employees to attend approved courses.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) provides a funding support for approved maritime-related courses and seminars held in Singapore. This funding support is part of the Maritime Cluster Fund (MCF) and is available to businesses that sponsor their employees to attend these courses. Training Service Providers who conduct these courses must first apply to MPA to have their courses pre-approved under the Course Fee Subsidy scheme.
Singapore citizens or Singapore permanent residents sponsored by business entities or organisations registered or incorporated in Singapore. The funding support is different depending on whether the course is non-examinable or certifiable.
The funding support is 30% of the course fee.
