Pre-Arrival Notification of Security (PANS)

Masters of

a) Passenger ships including high-speed passenger craft,
b) Cargo ships, including high-speed craft, of 500 GT and upwards, and
c) Mobile offshore drilling units

shall complete this form and email to isps@mpa.gov.sg at least 24 hours before arrival into Singapore. A ship
coming from a nearby port, with less than 24 hours steaming time to Singapore, shall immediately on departure
from such port complete this form and email to isps@mpa.gov.sg.

Submission of PANS



To submit the PANS to the MPA, please follow these steps:

1) Click on the "Select a folder.." button to select a folder or key in the folder path and file name (The file must end with '.xml' extension, e.g. C:\Temp\vesselname.xml) in the File Location.
2) If you keying in the file name without indicate the folder, e.g. vesselname.xml, the file will be saved on the Desktop.
3) Click on the "Final Save" button, an xml file will be generated.
4) Attach the xml file and dangerous cargo manifest if any, and email to the MPA at isps@mpa.gov.sg




Save the Data



To save the data into a file for you to use the data later (This will save your time, you need only do some amendments for your next PANS submission), please follow these steps:

1) Click on the "Select a folder.." button to select a folder or key in the folder path and file name (The file must end with '.dat' extension, e.g. C:\Temp\vesselname.dat) in the File Location.
2) If you keying in the file name without indicate the folder, e.g. vesselname.dat, the file will be saved on the Desktop.
3) Click on the "Save" button, a dat file will be generated.



Retrieve the Data

Select a previously saved .dat file :
1) Click on the "Browse..." button to select the '.dat' file from the folder that you saved in the above to retrieve tha data into the form for your amendment.
2) After the filename appears, click on the Load button to update the data to the form.
