Applicable to:All ship owners, managers and agents who carry out crew documentations of Singapore-registered ships.

1.Shipowners, managers and agents can apply and enquire on the following services on-line via using their company's MARINET ID:

a.Opening/Renewal & Closing of Crew Agreement;
b.Crew Changes including change in Crew Capacity
c.Applications for Crew Exemption, Safe Manning Documents and Certificate of Endorsement.

2.Besides the on-line services on MARINET, for Crew Changes including change in Crew Capacity, MPA has introduced a new electronic form to replace the existing Form ENG 2A.This new eForm is to facilitate submission by the master on board the ship.To use this new eForm, a copy of the form and user manual are now available at the MPA's website:

3.Shipping companies are encouraged to submit their crew documents mentioned above on-line. To familarise companies owning/handling Singapore registered ships with the new electronic services, MPA will be conducting training sessions free of charge on these services. The details of the training sessions are as follows:

Dates:2007 - 14 Mar, 30 Mar, 4 Apr, and 26 Apr
Time:1st session (9am-12pm); 2nd session (2.30pm to 5.30pm)
Venue:PSAB, Board Room, 21st Storey.

4.Each session can accommodate a maximum of 30 participants. Registration will be limited to one participant per company and on a first come first serve basis.Please email to: with the participant's name, designation and the preferred date and session.The participant should preferably have direct involvement in the company's crew documentation.We will revert on the result of your registration.
