The iBMS-Barge module provides two-way data communication between the barge and back office operations, further streamlining bunkering operations and vessel scheduling.
While the successful commercialisation of iBMS has done much to optimise the business processes within the bunker supply chain, it did not address the physical delivery process onboard the bunker barges. To complement iBMS and offer a full-fledged end-to-end solution for the bunker supply chain, BTS Pte Ltd introduced a new module named iBMS-Barge, developed under MPA’s MINT Fund.
The new module is installed on bunker barges and integrated with iBMS to provide two-way data communication between the barge and back office operations. This further streamlines bunkering operations and vessel scheduling. It also enables users to print important delivery documents such as the Bunker Delivery Note onboard the barges.
