Asset Tracking via Satellite

With support from MPA’s MINT Fund, SingTel has developed a cutting-edge global secure satellite tracking solution called SingTel AITrac.
 
SingTel AITrac allows maritime, government agencies and logistics companies to conduct real-time location and status tracking of their goods and personnel on land and coastal areas via remote simplex telemetry service. By attaching compact satellite tracking devices that utilise the Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to assets and personnel, companies and agencies now enjoy peace of mind with real-time asset tracking and pre-alerts during security breaches. Leveraging Globalstar’s low earth orbit satellite network to transmit telemetry data also means that assets or personnel on the move can be tracked even if they’re in remote locations beyond the range of terrestrial wireless services.
 
This web-based system also allows customers to track their assets via personalised accounts and was developed to serve the needs of logistics, coastal tug and barge operators and coastal fleet operators.
