GENERAL CHARGES
 7.1 SUPPLY OF WATER FROM MAINS
 (a)  Water supplied direct from mains to vessel shall be charged as follows :

A minimum charge will be imposed based on a minimum quantity per order of 20,000 litres.

All sales of water will be subject to a water conservation tax based on the rate imposed by the Public Utilities Board which may change from time to time.

Charges for item (a) are based on the PUB water tariff and the MPA reserves the right to revise the charges in the event of a revision made by PUB.

A vessel may request for more than one order during its stay in the port in which event, the total volume supplied to the vessel shall be used to determine the rate applicable.

 7.2 CHARGES FOR WHARFAGE ON PRIVATELY-OPERATED WHARF
 (1)  Subject to sub-paragraph (2), the wharfage charges payable on goods discharged from or loaded on a vessel, or transferred between vessels, at any privately-operated wharf are as follows:


Per tonne of goods or part thereof discharged from vessel

 (2) The wharfage charges payable on goods discharged from or loaded on a vessel, or transferred between vessels, at any privately-operated wharf (being goods that will be going into or that have come out of a facility for, or as a result of, the following processes at that facility) are as follows:

The Authority may elect to collect any of the wharfage charges payable
under paragraphs 7.2(a) and (b) from -

(a) the owner or agent of the vessel;
(b) the operator of the privately-operated wharf;
(c) the operator of the facility.

 7.3 CHARGES FOR OIL SPILL RESPONSE AND ANTI-POLLUTION SERVICES
  The charges for oil spill response and anti-pollution services provided by the Authority are as follows:

 * Costs that the Authority may actually incur to secure the provision of oil spill response or anti-pollution services from operator or equipment owners shall be charged.  For the deployment of oil spill response crafts or tugs; charges for demobilisation, fuel, water and lubricants shall be charged at the cost incurred by the Authority.

(e) dispersants to be charged at cost, with additional charges for the storage and handling thereof;
(f) an administrative charge at 10% of the total charges payable to the Authority, for total charges up to $1.07 million (inclusive of GST), or 6% of the total charges payable to the Authority, for total charges exceeding $1.07 million (inclusive of GST);


 

 7.4 SPECIAL GARBAGE COLLECTION SERVICES
 (a) Disposal of garbage $900 per bin* or
part thereof per trip

 (b) Cancellation and amendment fees
If the request for garbage disposal services is subsequently cancelled or amended, the following fees for each cancellation or amendment of the request shall also be payable:

(i) if the request is cancelled or amended not less than 2 hours before the services are required

(ii) if the request is cancelled or amended less than 2 hours before the services are required $450.00
 (c) Detention charges 
If any craft barge provided for the garbage disposal services requested is kept waiting alongside the ship or is kept waiting for the arrival of the ship before it can commence disposal operations, for every hour or part thereof that the barge is so kept waiting.
