Thought Leadership Talks
Aside from training programmes, the MPA Academy regularly organises public lectures by prominent maritime industry leaders and academics.
The talks are aimed at creating greater awareness about the maritime industry and the key issues facing the industry.
The academy organises 3 types of thought leadership talks:
Under the MPA Academy Distinguished Speaker Series, the academy invites speakers who are internationally renowned or of international repute in the maritime industry.
Speakers under the MPA Academy Insight Series are senior personnel with extensive expert knowledge on key maritime issues.
The academy also organises Fire Side Chats. These are informal dialogue sessions between younger MPA officers and prominent maritime industry professionals to inspire our younger officers on how Maritime Singapore has developed and evolved over the years.
Look out for new talks coming your way!
