Pilotage Guidelines

Pilotage guidelines for vessel movements in the port of Singapore.

The pilotage guidelines are intended to assist port users when booking pilots and ordering tugs, on the advice of the pilotage service provider, for their vessels.

The objectives of these guidelines are to provide the conditions for the safe berthing, unberthing and movement of vessels at the fairways and anchorages. In addition, they contain basic details of the various berths, jetties and other facilities including the controlling depths of its approaches to all major terminals and shipyards. With this information, port users can better plan their vessels' movements to maximise the vessels' port stay.

The information contained in the pilotage guidelines is provided by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).
