As a responsible employer, MPA is committed to engaging, nurturing, developing and caring for our people. We have in place our Total Rewards for Employee Effectiveness (TREE) Framework to enable our people to GROW @ MPA through the four interrelated areas of Growth and advancement, Rewards & recognition, Other benefits and incentives and Work-life harmony.
As part of our efforts to promote work-life harmony, MPA organises an annual WOW Week or 'Well-On-Worklife' Week for our employees. WOW Week is a week packed with health, entertainment and social activities for our employees. A highlight of the WOW Week is our Juniors @ Work day, where staff are encouraged to bring their children to work. Besides getting to tour their parents’ workplace, the children also have the opportunity to visit facilities like our Port Operation Control Centre and Raffles Lighthouse.
Supporting our NSmen
MPA recognises the critical role played by our NSmen towards the defence and security of Singapore and has in place various initiatives to support our NSmen in discharging their National Service duties.
In recognition of our efforts, MPA was inducted as an Honorary Member of the Minister for Defence Awards (MiDAs) League in 2010. Prior to this, MPA was a Member of the MiDAs League from 2005 to 2009. We have also been awarded the SAF Award for Employers and the Home Team (National Service) Award for NSmen’s Employers.
