Established in 1966 under the Merchant Shipping Act, the Singapore Registry of Ships (SRS) ranks among the top ten largest registries in the world with more than 3,000 registered vessels, totalling in excess of 30 million gross tons.
The SRS is internationally recognised for its efficient services, high operational and pollution control standards, and good safety record.
