Nautical Charts

Charts for Singapore waters and its approaches.

The port of Singapore and the surrounding sea lanes are some of the busiest in the world. With the large volume of maritime traffic, it is essential for safe navigation that the waters around Singapore are surveyed regularly and all charts are kept up to date through regular Notices to Mariners. This ensures that all seafarers are provided with timely and accurate information for safe navigation.

The Hydrographic Department of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) publishes and maintains 24 nautical charts covering the Port of Singapore, the Singapore Strait and its approaches.

We have also produced an atlas of 12 nautical charts specially designed for small boats and pleasure craft.

All charts issued by the Department are in accordance with specifications set by the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO).
