The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has suspended the bunkering licence of Navi Marine Services Pte Ltd to operate as a bunker supplier and a bunker craft operator with immediate effect from today. This follows the conviction yesterday of five marine surveyors for accepting bribes from Navi Marine Services.

With the suspension, Navi Marine is disallowed from operating as a bunker supplier and/or bunker craft operator in the Port of Singapore. The suspension would remain in force, pending the outcome of the MPA's investigations.
