As of 0730hrs today, recces conducted by MPA's patrol craft reported that Singapore's port waters were clean.

An aerial recce has been scheduled for late morning today.

Beach cleaning of the affected areas including East Coast Park, Sentosa, and St John's Island is making good progress. Clean-up operation at other affected beaches including the southern islands of Pulau Semakau, Pulau Pawai and Pulau Sudong continues.

The MPA's Emergency Operations Centre remains manned round the clock to oversee the clean up operation. MPA's patrol craft will continue to recce the port waters for signs of any new oil patches.
