Harbour Craft Licence and Dues

A harbour craft is any kind of vessel that plies only within the waters of Singapore. A vessel used as harbour craft must have a harbour craft licence. 

 Harbour Craft Licence Fee
 (a) For every vessel not exceeding 25 GT licensed as ‘SA’ or ‘SB’ or ‘SC’ or ‘SR’ or ‘ST’ harbour craft $3.00 per year
 (b) For every vessel exceeding 25 GT licensed as ‘SA’ or ‘SB’ or ‘SC’ or ‘SR’ or ‘ST’ harbour craft $3.00 per year and $0.05 per year for every ton or part thereof in excess of 25 GT
 (c) For every vessel licensed as ‘SP’ harbour craft $2.25 per year

The fees payable for licensing a craft used for more than one passenger shall be the sum of the fees payable for every such purpose stated above.

 Class I For every harbour craft used for the purpose of carrying cargo or not more than 12 passengers and not mechanically propelled $19.00
 Class II For every harbour craft used for the purpose of carrying cargo or not more than 12 passengers and mechanically propelled $27.00
 Class III For every harbour craft used for the purpose of carrying more than 12 passengers:
  1. Per passenger seat
  2. Minimum charge
 i. $60.00
 ii. $1,200.00
 Class IV For every harbour craft used for the purpose other than those specified in items above including every harbour craft used as a tug, a dredger, a crane or used for the purpose of salvage, engineering or reclamation works or a tanker for carriage of slop/bunker $100.00

No refund shall be made of any Craft Dues and Licence Fee paid annually.

Miscellaneous Fees

 Fees for:
 Every replacement of a licence $5.00
 Late Renewal Fee $10.00
 Certified copy of licence $5.00
 Search Fee $5.00

 

 Fees for an inspection or subsequent inspection of a harbour craft at:
 Designated inspection sites $30.00
 Non-designated inspection sites $50.00

 

 Fees for harbour craft manning licence:
 Issue of manning licence $20.00
 Renewal/Replacement of manning licence $10.00
