Singapore Mariners' Club at Maritime House
Maritime House, originally built in 1973 as staff quarters for the Port of Singapore Authority, has served the seafaring community for four decades. After functioning as the Singapore Mariner's Club from 1984, providing accommodation and recreational facilities for seafarers, the building is now undergoing a major transformation.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) is redeveloping Maritime House to meet evolving industry needs and accommodate increasing vessel calls at the Port of Singapore. The new 22-storey facility, set for completion in 2027, will significantly expand capacity from 46 to over 170 rooms.
The redeveloped Maritime House will serve as a comprehensive maritime hub, housing the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF), Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA), MPA Academy (MPAA), and components of the Maritime Energy Training Facility. It will provide enhanced training opportunities for seafarers during crew changes and offer event spaces for regional and international forums.
Sustainability features prominently in the design, with a hybrid cooling system, solar panels generating over 320,000 kWh annually, and pandemic-resilient infrastructure including separate access points and adaptable isolation spaces. The development aligns with MPA's net-zero emissions commitment and the Public Service's sustainability goals.
Construction has commenced on this heritage-rich project, with completion expected in 2027.

These terms and conditions will be updated once Maritime House is ready and operational.
