The General Accounting Department handles all financial transactions in the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.
All customers are required to open a customer account with MPA before proceeding to engage any services. A credit term and credit limit will then be granted to each customer based on the credit risk assessment. Where necessary, a banker’s guarantee may be requested. Customers not granted credit limits are required to make upfront payment before services are rendered.
