The Prevention of Pollution of the Sea Act and its subsidiary legislation.
The Prevention of Pollution of the Sea Act is a Singapore Act of Parliament. The Act aims to prevent sea pollution, whether originating from land or from ships. The Act also gives MPA the power to take preventive measures to prevent pollution, including denying entry or detaining ships.
