Recognised training service providers for shore-based personnel dealing with IMDG cargoes
The International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code was amended by Resolution MSC 262(84). One of the new mandatory requirements from the amendment is for shore personnel involved in handling or documentation of dangerous goods to have mandatory training commensurate with their responsibilities. The amendments entered into force on 1 January 2010. Shore personnel can sign up for the relevant courses with any of the recognised training service providers listed below:
